About RoboTaxi Report

The independent voice for robotaxi riders — because passengers deserve honest data, not press releases.

🎯

Our Mission

Robotaxis are one of the most significant transportation shifts of our lifetime. But most of the information available to the public comes from company press releases, investor decks, and breathless tech coverage.

RoboTaxi Report exists to fill that gap. We collect, verify, and publish real reviews from real riders — people who have actually sat in these vehicles, experienced their strengths, and encountered their failures.

We want anyone considering a robotaxi ride — whether a curious first-timer or a daily commuter — to have access to honest, crowd-sourced data before they get in the car.

📊

How Our Trust Score Works

Every review scores a ride across four dimensions. We then combine them into a single Trust Score from 0 to 100 — weighted to reflect what actually matters most to passengers.

🛡️ Safety
Did you feel safe? Were there any near-misses or sudden stops?
40%
⏱️ Reliability
Did the car arrive on time? Did the ride complete without issues?
25%
🪑 Comfort
Was the ride smooth? Was the cabin clean and pleasant?
20%
📞 Customer Service
When something went wrong, was it easy to get help?
15%

We weight safety at 40% because getting there safely is the only thing that matters more than getting there at all. A comfortable ride with a scary braking event should score lower than a slightly bumpy ride that was uneventful.

Our Review Policy

We accept reviews from real riders only. Reviews about rides that didn't happen, reviews from company employees posting on behalf of their employer, or reviews containing hate speech or personal attacks are removed.

We do not edit review content, moderate scores, or remove unfavorable reviews from companies. Every review is published as submitted (subject only to spam/abuse checks).

We are not affiliated with any AV company. No company pays to be listed, pays to improve their score, or pays to suppress negative reviews. RoboTaxi Report earns revenue through display advertising only.

Incident Tracking

In addition to rider reviews, we track publicly reported incidents involving autonomous vehicles — pulling from NHTSA Automated Driving Systems reports, CPUC filings, and credible news coverage.

We aim to put incidents in context: a minor fender-bender is reported differently from a serious injury event. We always link to primary sources so readers can verify the information themselves.
